Misturinha began as a secret party
at my house on summer 2004, where never more than 20 people exchange
medicine, try doing some home-made dope and get stoned. That was then.
But the concept of mixturing everything seemed me very fresh and a real
good and unpredictable trip. I had a weekly radio program on a
non-government organization (Viva Rio) called Efeito Coletivo.
Misturinha is weekly and allows download, streaming and
podcasting, from time to time some guests plays whatever they want on
their 30 minutes. The program has reached more than 80.000 listenners
per month
in almost 2 1/2 years, all independent and made a big trade with
musicians worldwide.

John Merrick Experience started back
in 94 when I was working at Groovie studio of Ronaldo Pereira (from
Supergroove) and met the guys from Planet Hemp. They ask me to produce
the B-side of their first demo, so I did some samples, loops and
sound-designinng. We use to to hang around so we start jamming and
recording: me (Jenner), Tantão, Marcelo D2 (Planet Hemp)and Formigão (Planet
Hemp) - it sounds like trip hop (at that time I think the name TRIP HOP
even exists). We called it STONED FUNK. Planet Hemp band signed to Sony
Records, 3 months later and became very successful nationwide. Nowadays,
Formigão is playing with Spinninghead and Marcelo D2 has a very popular
solo carreer. In 99, I kicked my job and started again John
Merrick Experience with Tantão. Lots of gigs in odd places, most of the
time in different places in Lapa, for painting artists, junkies,
musicians, poets... and at "those multimedia events" . And done some
really big gigs most of the time on the breaks between the bands in punk
rock/hardcore events. Tantão is a legend, the junkie that people love to
hate. And I, well, I´m cool with friends but love to hate people. So we
together is very explosive. We split sometimes and then came back til
today. I´ve done by myself lots of remixes to lots of friends under the
name of John Merrick Experience and released in December 2005 the
track JOHN MERRICK EXPERIENCE IS OVER on V/A CD from Onigono Label
called Quieto ! and in January 2006 a remix to Nervoso on
Outracoisa Magazine. January 29th 2007 released Anger is an Energy free
download album. On August 20th, 2007 released another free download EP -
Shiva is a Punk.

XXX! started in June 2005, in December
2005 we released the track Aishiteru on a V/A Quieto! CD from Onígono
Label. XXX! is Jenner´s electropunk works with girls .

Ogã Eletrônico started in 2004 after a
John Merrick Experience gig at Superdemo Digital Festival. A tribal
mixture, layers of dozens drumloops and noises, a rude sound, heavy and
hipnotic. In July 2006, Ogã Eletrônico gig with
Donatinho at Paz
Eletrônica Festival but this story I can´t tell.
